Please, mind the bats…

As I have finally had the time to start the Blog section on the Scarlett’s Attic website, I would first like to say, thank you for visiting and taking an interest in me and in “us” as there is more than just your gorgeous Mistress Scarlett (me) who is involved in this wonderful project, business venture and personal dream of mine.

There are two other lovely Dommes, at least three darling Pets who are collared and owned by me that are helping, many friends in my local BDSM community and there seems to always be more fresh blood coming on board and showing interest in what we are doing and what we are about deep down at our cores.

First off, my lovely husband and I are remodeling our quite large and interesting attic in our personal home into a fully stocked BDSM Dungeon. I thought it would be a little different than having a basement Dungeon, a way to make my dream flourish a little quicker, a little easier and just all around I had a vision of how I wanted it in my head. I was hooked as soon as the idea crossed my mind.

No, the attic will not be big enough for gigantic play parties, but it will be perfect for a Mistress and her Sub, or even two, three or four. I would say honestly you could have two groups of two or three going on either side of the attic at once. It will not be huge, but it will be nice, it will be sinister, it will be comfortable, it will be fun and it will be a wonderful place to play and enjoy your time worshipping your Mistress.

Along with the Dungeon being used for Scarlett’s Attic, we will be renting it out for private use for a small fee/donation regularly as we want to share and will be delighted to be able to provide others with a safe and fun place to play without breaking the bank. And as soon as the Dungeon is finished, we will be sure to have a mini “Open House” and invite everyone along to meet us and have a look! (Please make sure to subscribe to the Blog for an invite!)

Next, I want to talk about sessioning. As of right now I am still working out some kinks, but it is getting better. At the moment I am working on booking on a bi-weekly sort of basis. I book about four to five sessions a week and no more. I rarely schedule weekend sessions and prefer not to work weekends at all, but I do understand that some of my Pets simply cannot make a weekday or weeknight work for them, so I do make exceptions, but, it must be understood that if I honor you with this favor, expect that you will honor me as well.

There has been several issues that have come up as far as Tributes and as soon as they do, I simply click the delete button now, I do not bother writing back because I will consider you a “brat” and I will not work with you if you start barking at me over Tribute prices. I am worth one hundred times what I ask for. And I am extremely nice with Tributes and base all of them on these things –
~ How long will your session take to plan, setup, cleanup ~ How Many Dommes and/or Extras? (as I have to pay them as well) ~ How complex is your session and what does it entail? ~ Are you a single or couple? ~ How much communication with you am I having to do? ~ How much of MY FREE TIME am I having to use to plan your session? (some of these are like goddamn stage productions…I am not even shitting you, they are wickedly fun, but a lot of work) ~ Did you offer a gift or service? (this can make up for monetary Tributes) ~

Paying Tribute is less about the actual money and more about saying to your Mistress. “This is a gift, this is payment for allowing me to be in your presence and for you to give me this great honor of letting me serve you Mistress.”

As I am NOT some Faux Baby Domme ONLY doing FinDom crap on Twitter and saying two sentences over and over and then showing photos of me squishing my breasts…(I just recently learned of all this, this new Twitter Findom fad by the way…wtf?)

So, when you fill out my Session Request Form, we chat a bit, I come back with a Tribute and you get angry with me, or message me on Fetlife and say, “Yo, wht can $75 gt me?” (<<<actual message, spelling and all) I will very kindly tell you that this is not BDSM McDonalds and I am not a menu, and that I am also not a BDSM Online Yard Sale site either and will not haggle, then tell you to have a wonderful day. Because right behind you is a line of Submissives dying to serve and I just do not have the time to school you in how you should talk to a Pro-Domme…I used to try, I just can’t anymore.

So, in all honesty, when I give you a Tribute, what you should do is either –
A: Offer me more
OR
B: Ask what you can bring me as a gift

Moving on…scheduling. I am going to start having a schedule set up with times you can choose from, for instance. If I have June 25 available and I can have two 1 Hour sessions that day or one 2 Hour session that day, I will put it up on the site and also my Social Media, and send it out via email to those who subscribe. That way, I can have a set schedule, it will make it much easier for me in the long run because that is becoming a bit of an issue.

If there does happen to be a day you would like that is not on my schedule, email me and I will do what I can, but I cannot make any promises.

I will do more formal blog posts about these subjects, but this is a start and an introduction.

Be sure to subscribe to keep up with all things going on here at SA. Next week we should be doing the measurements upstairs for the rest of the materials we need to get the walls and ceiling up, along with running the lines for the outlets and the small pieces of the floor that was missed by our asshole contractor (grrrrr) and then we can start thinking about where we want to put our St. Andrew’s Cross…which I am REALLY loving the idea of one of the ones with lights behind it! (squeeee!)
