Happy July – My Birthday Month is here – Sessions and spoil me time

Happy hot AF month! I love July as it is hot, summer-y and just a great month overall, plus, it is my birth month, the time of the year to celebrate yours truly! Now, this may seem a bit ridiculous and every Domme celebrates her birthday as an entire month, but think of it this way, we spend all year busting tail to look good, act good, be the perfect Domme, put your asses in place, we work hard, play hard, we are constantly in action, all of the time. People have this idea that being a Pro-Domme is just us sitting on our asses and getting catered to, or us standing there and whipping someone or humiliating them. Well, let me tell you that NO NO NO NO NO, it is quite the opposite. I have had Vanilla jobs in accounting, retail, marketing, management and nothing compares to the job of being a Pro-Domme.

I work 7 days a week most weeks, though I try to take a day off every week, but somehow I always end up on my computer or phone, reaching out to a client who needs me, getting back to someone who has filled out a “Session Request Form”or a “Contact Us” form with a question. Checking numbers, algorithms, posting on social media, checking messages there or emails from other in regards to photo shoots, orders, information needed, etc. I jump online to order something new for the playspace so it never gets old and boring for you. I am researching, training, updating myself on new things, I am going back and forth and networking with people I have business relationships with. I am growing Scarlett’s Attic as a business. Updating the website, the Blog, Fet, Instagram, Twitter (haha I suck at Twitter) – I am planning the next munch, I am trying to plan the next event for once Covid settles. I am reading books on Psychology so I can better help you in depth as much as possible. I mean, the list is never ending and goes on and on and on and on and on…and as much as I love it and I am a lifestyle Domme as well, it is exhausting, because when I am not doing this, I am a full time Momma Bear and I have a house and yard to keep up with as well. So, when that special time of year rolls around, it’s a time to give back to your Mistress. Do you enjoy all of her content? Her photos? Her writing? Her sessions? Her advice? Everything she has directly or indirectly done for you? Then show her! It’s not as much about the physical or monetary value of the gift, but the gift in of itself that truly means something. Saying, “I am thinking of you and thank you for X, Y and Z” is what it all boils down to. At least for me and some other Dommes I know of.

This is what really and truly matters. Because everything I do is not just for myself at the end of the day. To really understand I take you back a bit to explore the mind of a sadist – we may love to cause pain, but we are also extremely empathetic creatures, possibly more empathetic than most people as we feel very, very deeply and excruciatingly powerfully. Thus, when you are in your aftercare stage of the session, after we have caused the pain and gotten our kicks, the empathy and compassion kicks in and we want nothing more than to be your healer (this is called aftercare for the people in the back!). Now, that is what a true sadist will feel, not that you have to be a sadist to be a Domme or vice versa, I am just saying, for me, this is what happens. I am not talking about your Dommes who simply do it for money (which is fine, whatever, they still work their asses off!) and I am not talking about the Dommes who are just cunts either and demand things or expect things for nothing, especially talentless twats who just think that abuse is what is considered being a Pro-Domme. (WRONG)

I digress….

Anyhow, this may give you some insight as to why we are all about “US” during our birthday months because though it may seem we are all about “us” during the rest of the year, it is actually quite the opposite.
